Hello! I'm glad you found your way here. All the items in this store come from my personal collection of music and related memorabilia, gathered over a period of years of going to shows and being a music fan. All of the signed items were signed in person, in my presence.
I understand that uthenticity of music memorabilia is a huge deal for serious collectors. There is a lot of fake items out there, particularly when it comes to artist signatures. The provenance I can provide is that of my history of working in music, and the stories of how I came about these items.
oOo
Long before I became a music photographer or had any interest in live music, I was listening to boy bands like The Backstreet Boys (no shame). I discovered Linkin Park in 2001 after seing 'One Step Closer' on a TV music channel and almost overnight I was suddenly only listening to rock and metal, started going to festivals, joined some record label street teams, signed up to the Linkin Park Underground in its launch year and became an LPUK Street Team Captain. And going to live shows from that point is what inspired me to pick up a camera.
To say Linkin Park changed my life is a huge understatement.
From around the time I joined the LPU in 2001 I also started buying Linkin Park things online - promo cds and vinyl mostly, with the odd cassette or flag or puzzle thrown in here and there.
One of the perks of being a member of the LPU and a Street Team Captain so early on was the offer of free tickets to shows and meet & greets, so I signed the rest of my family up to the basic packages, and it was at a number of these meet & greets with Linkin Park in 2003/2004 that we had various items signed.
Some of the items in this store were gifts for Street Teamers, some were promotional materials sent to Street Teamers, some are from the first 4 years of being a member of the LPU, some are items I bought as new upon release. All of them I've had for many, many years, either stored in boxes or displayed in frames around my house.
Why am I selling some of it now?
My music taste has rapidly evolved over the last 20 years, and I stopped collecting 15+ years ago. These things sit in boxes, not being looked at or appreciated.
It's taken 20 years for me to be able to let some of it go to others who might appreciate them more, so here we are.
More items added soon.
(I have tons of stickers, who wants those?)
